Fab India Rose Soap Review & Price

Hello Everyone,

Happy Sunday! I'm back with a soap review... Too many soap reviews naaa... Next weekend no soap review! Promise! Today i'm reviewing a product which was featured in myFab India & Faces Haul. I'm going to review the Rose Soap.

About Fab India Rose Soap:

Get the spa like experience daily with the Fabindia Rose Soap. Rose acts as a natural astringent; helps tighten pores and restore suppleness for a glowing complexion. The Fabindia Rose Soap is infused with mild aroma which calm and sooths the mind. It protects the skin from sun damage. The natural oils found in roses help lock moisture into the skin, keeping skin feeling smooth. Rose is especially beneficial for those with sensitive skin because the sugars in its petals create a soothing feeling.
  • Soothes the skin.
  • Mild aroma relaxes mind.

Price & Quantity:

Rs. 45 for 50 grams / Rs.75 for 100 grams

Soap Base (Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Stearate, Water, Propylene Glycol, Sugar, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Sodium Chloride, Disodium EDTA and BHT), Glycerine, Castor Oil, Aloe Vera, Neem Leaves, Neem Extract, Basil Oil.

My Experience with Fab India Rose Soap:

Fab India soaps are available in two size variants of 50 & 100 grams, I really like that. The 50 g variant is a travel bar and i find that very convenient for me. When i'm travelling I hate using the soaps which the hotels provide, at these times a travel bar can be your savior. Another reason why i love these travel bars is the fact that i don't like using very big soaps. I always cut my soaps. With this soap i don't need to cut. It fits perfectly in my palm.

Now, lets talk all about the soap. The Fab India soaps come in a very simple packaging. The Rose Soap is light pink in colour. It has a lighter fragrance in comparison to the Neem Tulsi Soap. The soap lathers a lot and cleanses the body really well. The soap doesn't make my skin dry. This soap lasted me for about two weeks and i'm satisfied wit h it.

Final Verdict:

I really liked using this soap. My skin felt good while using this soap and i loved the fragrance. If you like trying out new soaps then do try the Fab India Soaps. They aren't too pricey plus you get the benefit of trying out the travel bar and saving yourself a few bucks.

Have you tried Fab India soaps before?

Price & Qty:

Rs.315 for 75ml

Cocoa butter
The sexiest moisturizer out there. Butter extracted from cocoa beans – mild, natural and all things sinful.

We hate those plastic particles. Cellulose is natural, nice and soft.

Everything that's inside
Aqua (Water), Cellulose Beads, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ethylhexylglycerin, FDA Approved Colours, Fragrance, Glycerin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Stearic Acid, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Triethanolamine

My Experience with Plum Choco - Latte Cleanser:

Plum choco-latte cleanser comes in a white tube with a flip cap. A very simple but convenient packaging. I'll jump straight to the fact that i LOVEEE the fragrance of this cleanser. It has a strong chocolate scent and this  product tempts me so much but i have to resist tasting it... hehe

The cleanser is a light weight cream based cleanser. It is white in colour with some brown scrubby granules for a very slight exfoliation. On a personal note i would have definitely preferred more scrubby granules. The cleanser is packed with the goodness of cocoa better. It is free of Paraben, SLS and phthalate. YAY!

Honestly, i'm loving using this product. If you are looking for a gentle cleanser which free from Paraben, SLS and phthalate, then go on and try this cleanser from plum. Buy Here.

Hi all,

You all know i'm a huge fan of soaps. So here i am introducing another lovely brand called Aster which sells luxury handmade bathing bars. They currently stock 30 variants of soaps. Today, I will review a lovely soap from the house of Aster. Read on to know how the soapaholic in me felt about this soap.

A Lil Bit About Aster:

Aster Luxury handmade bathing bars are premium bathing soaps which are designed for those who nourish their skin naturally. Aster bathing bars are blended for enhancing specific skin types, as every individual's skin is not the same. These luxury soaps are skin healthy, soothing and provide natural protection to the skin. Aster bathing bars retain all the possible benefits of herbs and essential oils.

Aster luxury handmade soaps use natural ingredients such as Coconut Oil, Sorbitol, Castor Oil, Myristic Acid etc.

The Essential Oils & Fragrances used in Aster Luxury bathing bars are sourced from authentic manufacturers & used only after going through stringent quality control methods. Aster handmade soaps use strong percentage of essential oils thus the lingering fragrance lasts much longer.

They have developed a vast range of premium quality soaps both in transparent & opaque form.

About Aster Luxury Sandalwood Soap:

Aster Luxury sandalwood natural bathing bar soap is handmade and crafted from fresh procured natural ingredients. Sandalwood is effective for various skin allergies. It detoxifies the skin and cures acne and makes the skin look glowing, fair and young. No Paraben. No Phthalates. No animal testing. Sandal wood bar soap has aroma of 100% natural sandal wood oil. It leaves skin moisturized and its rich lathering effect gives a fresh appeal to the skin after every bath. This bathing bar does not have any side effects and is good for the skin.

Coconut Oil, Sorbitol, Castor Oil, Myristic Acid, Stearic Acid, Cocoamido Propyl Betaine, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Sandal Fragrance Oil

Price & Quantity:

Rs.150 for 125 gms

Shelf Life:

24 months from date of packaging.

My Views on Aster Luxury Sandalwood Soap:

Aster Luxury soaps come in a plastic packaging with labels in the front as well as back. The label at the back  gives you details of ingredients, manufacture date, etc. Its a very simple and fuss free packaging, but the packaging doesn't go with the brand name. I would have definitely preferred a slightly better packaging.

The soap is semi - opaque and yellowish in colour. I'm a sucker for soaps with amazing fragrance and this soap definitely scores well in this department. Sadly, it doesn't linger on for too long... would have loved if it lasted! This soap contains the goodness of coconut oil, castor oil & glycerin... all of these are doing wonders for my skin. I think this is the perfect soap for winters or for anyone who has dry skin.

Another amazing fact is that unlike other handmade soaps.. this doesn't melt too fast nor does it loose its shape. It lathers really well and cleanses the skin completely.

1. Free of Parabens & Phthalates
2. Not tested on animals
3. Amazing Fragrance
4. Lathers well
5. Nourishes the skin with the goodness of coconut oil, castor oil & glycerin
6. Doesn't melt too fast

1. Wouldn't mind a better packaging

2. The fragrance doesn't last too long

Aster Luxury Bathing Bar - Sandalwood is a great soap for winters/ dry skin. Loving the nourishing effect it is having on my skin. Overall, this soap is definitely a winner in my eyes.

Barever Natural Hair Inhibitor : Review , Price & Swatch

Hi Girls,

Somewhere around last month i did a first impressions post on Barever Natural Hair Inhibitor! It thought its time to reveal the details to you people... whether it lives up to its claims? Will it give you freedom from the numerous parlour visits? Read on to know my views after using this product for 2 n half months...

About Barever Natural Hair Inhibitor:

Natural Hair Inhibitor is scientifically designed formulation which gradually restricts the growth of body hair, helping you achieve permanent reduction of unwanted hair growth. The potent formula of barever inhibits the hair follicle cell activity at the root level of hair and slows down the growth of unwanted hair so that you enjoy soft, silky and smoother skin for longer duration.

Barever can be used by both women and men and safe for sensitive areas like bikini line, underarms and facial hairs.

How to Use it???

1. Remove hair with your regular hair removal method.
2. Take enough quantity of Barever and apply on desired area.
3. Massage gently till Barever is well absorbed.
4. Use Twice daily for 5 days after every hair removal session.
5. In case of Hair Removal Cream, use daily.

Is it Safe??

Barever is formulated with ingredients derived from plants which make it 100% natural, safe and effective. The only side effect which you will have with Barever is that body hair growth will be reduced but that is also the main effect for which you shown trust in Barever.

I'm really amazed with how well this was worded!

Price & Quantity:

Rs.1100 for 80 gms.

I know it sounds pricey, but if you compare it to the amount you spend in a parlour every month or to the expensive laser treatments... it's a pretty good investment! Definitely a good ROI (Return on Investment for those who do not know what this term in). Once in a while u'll get a little bit of finance gyaan on the beauty blog.

My take on BAREVER Natural Hair Inhibitor:

The product comes in a classy black bottle with a pump dispenser. It's a very convenient packaging. Easy to travel with and dispenses just the right amount of product that you need. You can lock the pump, another plus point for the thoughtful packaging.

The cream is white in colour and its thicker than the normal moisturizers that you use on a regular basis. It is slightly heavy on my oily skin, but dry skinned beauties will be amazed with the moisturizing properties of this cream. Once massaged onto the skin nicely it gets absorbed very fast. The cream has a very pleasant smell to it. I really like the fact that it doesn't smell bad at all...

I have been using this for over 2 and a half months now. Don't expect me to say that the places where i tested it out are hair free! Lol... that's just not possible. But what i can definitely say is  that the hair growth has reduced slightly. The hair is becoming slightly soft and thinner. I really think this product is gonna work well with me over time.

I have used this product twice a day for 5 days after my waxing sessions, just like the way its supposed to be used. Though my skin is pretty sensitive, i didn't get any allergies or face any issues after using it. I would suggest doing a patch test before using any skin care product, just to avoid any reactions. I doubt taht would happen cause the ingredients are all natural.

The best thing i like about Barever is that the brand is focusing on customer delight. Which brand / company asks you to use their product only 5 times a month i.e. after your session of hair removal.

1. It is made up of natural ingredients
2. Travel Friendly
3. Classy and convenient packaging
4. Great alternative overtime as against regular parlour visits/ laser
5. Need to use it only for 5 days after waxing
6. Lives up to its claims
7. Reduces hair growth on regular usage
8. Thins out hair
9. Lovely fragrance
10. Can be used by both men and women
11. Didn't cause any issues or allergies to my skin
12. Free of parabens
13. Very moisturising

1. I thinks its a little heavy on my face. Cause these days my skin is pretty oily.

Final Verdict:

I feel this is a must have product for every girl. Its a product which has certainly delighted me and i'm sure it will work wonders after seeing such positive results is just 2 and half months. A product that is natural and lives up to its claims... what more could i ask for!

Buy Barever on Snapdeal or Barever Website. Also available on other leading online shoppong websites.

Hope you enjoyed reading this review! Do let me know what you think about this product!

Bouquet of Roses by Camelia's Natural & Handmade Bath & Body Treats Review

Hi guys,

How have you all been... i was supposed to do a few posts this weekend but things took a really wrong turn in my personal life and i just couldn't do anything! I was pretty upset about how things were growing, but i'm a strong girl who is not going to sit about crying because of stupid people. So i'm back to blogging...

Today i'm reviewing a soap which i should have reviewed really long back. Its tried and tested long back!  I'm reviewing the Bouquet of Roses soap made by Camelia of  Camelia's Natural & Handmade Bath & Body Treats. I was a happy customer who shopped again! You can check out my haul from her store HERE.

Milk, Rosewater, Vit E, Bentonite Clay, Coconut Oil, Sandalwood powder & Fragrance Oil Blend

My Experience:

I love using handmade soaps and was super excited to try out this soap when i came across the Facebook page of Camelia's Natural & Handmade Bath & Body Treats. Since it was a new brand and my skin is sensitive i chose to try out just one soap in my first order. I love the fragrance of roses and so i picked this one up. But with the stock load of soaps i already had i used this almost a month after the order reached me.

The soap was smaller than what i expected but i cut into 4 pieces like i usually do with any handmade soap. The reason i cut any handmade is that since they do not contain chemicals they tend to melt faster than the usual soaps. Cutting them into smaller pieces just increases their longevity. It lasted me almost 3 weeks :)

The fragrance had died down a bit since i kept it away for a month, but it still had the lingering smell of roses. This soap is filled with the goodness of so many amazing natural ingredients. It was a delight to use this soap. The soap kept my skin moisturized. The best part about this soap was that it lathered up so well.

All in all i was happy with my purchase and the next time round i ordered 4 soaps :P

Do check them out on FACEBOOK if you would like to try out some of their handmade soaps!

Hope you enjoyed reading this review! Do leave your views in comments below...

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in Heartbreaker:

Heartbreaker is a very pretty berry pink shade. This shade is the most used among the three i own. I was super obsessed with this shade in the middle and used it almost everyday. It's a very unique shade and will suit all skin tones. Superb pigmentation - one swipe is all you need to get a full color pay off. Keeps the lips moisturized and stays on for about 4 hours.
LOTD : Heartbreaker in natural light

LOTD : Heartbreaker -  indoors

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in Kate Moss No. 22:

Kate Moss No. 22 is a bright blue based red with a slight tinge of pink. I very rarely wear red lipsticks but you gotta own at least one red shade so i chose to pick up a budget red lipstick. One swipe is all you need to cover pigmented lips. It's not moisturizing but it doesn't make my lips feel dry as well. stays on my lips for about 4- 5 hours.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in Amethyst Shimmer:

Amethyst Shimmer is a dark berry shade with abundance of purple shimmer in it. The colour varies depending on hoe pigmeneted your lips are. It looks completely on my mom and my moms lips. My mom loves this shade for than me. honestly im not a fan of shimmer lipsticks so i don't pick this shade too often. You need two swipes to cover pigmented lips completely. stays on for about 4 hours. This shade is definitely for the night.

Rs.250 for 4 grams

Final Views:

I think these lipsticks are quite a steal at the price they retail at. Rimmel has a wide range of colours which you can pick from according to your liking. They stay on for about 4 hours and have pretty good pigmentation.

Have you used Rimmel London lipsticks before? Which is your favourite from the three i own? Should i try any other color which you have used? Do let me know in comments below!
